Implant Surgery, Smile Restoration & Comprehensive Dental Care

Dr. Konrad Ferguson

Dr Konrad Ferguson is a U.S.-trained dentist who provides comprehensive dental care with particular focus on implant surgery, smile restoration, and functional rehabilitation of damaged or missing teeth. He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he received the award for excellence in fixed prosthodontics.

He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a professional designation awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry in North America to dentists who complete extensive continuing education and demonstrate ongoing commitment to clinical learning.

Dr Ferguson completed the AAID MaxiCourse in implant dentistry and continues advanced training through the RIPE Global Implant Program and is perusing Associate Fellowship in the AAID. His diagnostic philosophy is influenced by the Kois approach to dentistry, emphasizing careful evaluation of structure, biology, function, and aesthetics before recommending treatment.

Prior to private practice, he served as a dentist in the United States Army, where he gained extensive experience in surgical dentistry, management of complex extractions, oral surgery procedures as well as aesthetic smile design cases.

Clinical Scope & Areas of Practice

Dr Ferguson

provides dental care for adults and families across the full scope of general dentistry.

His work

includes preventive care, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, management of broken or heavily restored teeth, and root canal therapy where required. He also offers clear aligner therapy to address crowding, spacing, and bite alignment.

A major focus of his practice

is implant dentistry and oral surgery. This includes dental implant placement, bone grafting procedures, wisdom tooth removal, and restoration of implants with crowns and bridges.

He frequently manages cases involving worn, damaged, or missing teeth, where careful planning of bite stability, tooth structure, and aesthetics is required to restore long-term function.

Comprehensive Examination & Diagnosis

Dr Ferguson believes that careful diagnosis is the foundation of good dentistry.

Comprehensive examinations evaluate more than individual teeth. They include assessment of gum health, screening for oral cancer, evaluation of bite function and occlusion, and examination of surrounding oral structures.

By evaluating these elements together, underlying problems that affect long-term dental stability and oral health can be identified early.

Community Service

Dr Ferguson

has been involved in volunteer dentistry throughout his career.

During dental school

at the University of California, San Francisco, he volunteered in community clinics providing dental care to underserved patients in the San Francisco area.

He has also participated

in outreach programs providing dental care to elderly patients and individuals with limited access to dental services.

In Singapore

, he continues to support community initiatives that provide dental care to vulnerable populations, including elderly residents and migrant workers.

Professional Approach

Dr Ferguson’s approach emphasizes thoughtful, minimally invasive care whenever possible. Preserving healthy tooth structure and recommending treatment only when it is clearly beneficial are central principles of his practice.

Because oral health is closely connected to overall health, routine care often includes medical screening such as blood pressure monitoring, oral cancer screening, and careful review of relevant medical conditions prior to treatment. Particular attention is given to the health of the gums, as periodontal (gum) disease has been linked to numerous systemic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and inflammatory disorders.

His goal is to provide treatment that is durable, biologically sound, and carefully tailored to each patient’s long-term health.
